Teen Learning 2.0

Welcome to our blog. We are now beginning our Web 2.0 exploration and both you and I will keep a blog of our discoveries.  During the next 10 weeks we will be working on a tutorial aligned to the California Model School Library Standards that will explore the following topics: 

• Digital Citizenship
• Blogging
• Avatars, Photos, Images and Giving Credit
• Good Web Manners and Commenting
• Creating Your Own Images, Animations and Videos
• Fun with Books and Reading
• Evaluating Information Websites and Creating Bibliographies
• Online Sharing

Our blog will follow closely Teen Learning 2.0,although a few things have been added and dropped through the years.  

This week's assignment is to:

• Set up your own blog on Google's Blogger.
• Complete the survey to register your blog (so that I can see and follow). 
• Create your first Post call it Welcome.
  In post explain the purpose of your blog (e.g. This is my class blog. I will be posting during the spring semester, 2016 as part of the assignments as a student library assistant). This will be helpful to anyone coming across it so they can better understand your posts and comments.
